Cooking for the 2017 AFL Iftar Dinner

2017 AFL Iftar Dinner hosted by the GWS Giants

Chef Daniel recently catered for over 200 people at the 2017 AFL Iftar Dinner hosted in Western Sydney by the GWS Giants.  An amazing night to be a part of and share with the local community.

Cuisine for the night was ‘Stations of the World bringing together an assortment of dishes representing cuisines from all over the globe including Mexican, Asian, European, Middle Eastern and more.  Some of the dishes of the night included Paella, Pasta, Soups, Wok creations and Curry dishes.  Each station was designed so that guests could sample from each cuisine as much or as little as they like.  Each station was personally designed by Chef Daniel calling on his talents and experience of Chef’ing in countries far and wide.  You can learn how to create Chef Daniel’s recipes and creations by joining his Foodie Community today.

So what is the Iftar Dinner you say?  Hosted by the GWS Giants for the fourth consecutive year, the Iftar Dinner is a special event where the community comes together to embrace cultural diversity and celebrate the Muslim breaking of the fast during Ramadan.  We thought “Stations of the World” catering style by Chef Daniel would be the perfect compliment to such an event.

It was also another opportunity for Chef Daniel to engage in teaching skills to others with students from Kingsgrove Park High School and Belmore Boys High School helping to prepare and serve food throughout the night.
